Sarawak invited to play at Mayor of Padang Cup tourney [Updated]

Word has it that the Crocs has been invited to play at a friendly tournament named Mayor of Padang Cup (Walikota Cup) in Indonesia this coming January 2015.

According to a local Indonesia social media account we follow, the Crocs will be joined by 2014 Super League Champions Selangor FA, and other Indonesian clubs like Persib, PSP Padang, Persiba Balik Papan dan Semen Padang.

According to Facebook page ‘This Is Borneo Team Sarawak Football’, kick off of the tournament is expected on 4th January 2015, with the Crocs placed in group B, of the two group cup competition.

It is not certain if Sarawak would accept the invitation to play at the friendly cup competition as they are also scheduled to meet KL SPA and Sabah FA at dates near to the said competition date.

UPDATED 27 DECEMBER 2014, 0002HRS:
Indonesian fan site for FC Seman Padang has confirmed that Sarawak would be playing in the tournament with player agent whom has brought numerous foreign players to Sarawak, also saying the Crocs would be coming to Jakarta soon. So far, the Sarawak FA management has yet to issue any statement in regards to the tournament.
