The Crocs are bracing for their first ever local defense line as they take on T-Team tomorrow with Ramesh Lai joining Gabor Gyepes as unavailable for the match.
Ramesh (photo) which has been dubbed as ‘Mr Reliable’ by local Sarawak fans due to his perfect consistent performance is out due to chickenpox.
According to sources with medical background, which are close to SarawakCrocs.com, Ramesh most probably would be out for a couple of weeks, hence leaving his right back position open to be filled.
Also out of the Sarawak vs T-Team game is Mafry Balang whom will need to serve a one match suspension for yellow cards.
But all is not bad news for the Sarawak camp as the likes of Dzulazlan Ibrahim and Mohd Dzulfadli Awang Marajeh all both itching to play this season.
Partnering Dzulazlan or Dzulfadli would most probably be Ronny Harun, Mazwandy Zakeria and Hairol Mokhtar.
Either way, the absence of Ramesh, Gabor and Mafry has opened a rare opportunity to younger Sarawakian players to start, and both Dzulazlan and Dzulfadli should seize the opportunity presented and try their best to break into the main squad.
