The management of the Crocs has denied claims by the Vice Chairman of Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Status Committee, Abdul Aziz Yeop that the Crocs had not submitted any proof or affidavits in regards to the controversy surrounding the signing of Syahrul Azwari by the Crocs.
According to Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) General Secretary Abdullah Julaihi, Sarawak had already sent in the documents on the 22nd of January, which is the final day to do such thing.
According to Abdullah, he was shocked to learn that Abdul Aziz had claimed FAS had not submitted their documents, but remains confident that Sarawak will win the case as the Crocs had followed procedures when signing the Kelantan born player.
FAM is expected to sit down and discuss the final outcome of Syahrul in a meeting this week. The outcome of the meeting will determine the future of Syahrul as a player of the Crocs.
Syahrul’s signing by Sarawak became a controversy after Kelantan claimed that it was not done in the proper manner.
