It looks like Ryan Griffith’s stay at Stadium Negeri has come to an end.
The 34-year old Australian who played two seasons with the Crocs has moved on according to our close sources, with him already agreeing to a contract with South China.
The Sydney born striker was an April 2013 signing for the Crocs under the then coach Robert Alberts whom hailed Ryan as ‘the player he needed’.
Ryan’s stint at Stadium Negeri saw him being a regular starter for the Crocs, but his lack of goals made him less popular although it is quite evident Ryan was crucial in setting up most of the goals.
The departure of Ryan means that Sarawak now has two foreign import slots open after Billy Mehmet also signaled he would be leaving Sarawak.
