Rumours on social media reveal that Sarawak former player Ronald Hikspoor might be coming back to play for Sarawak.
The news comes as a surprise to many Sarawak fans as many have somewhat forgotten about this hardworking player which had to be relieved of his contract last April due to a long term injury.
Ronald was a late signing last season after the Crocs dropped former Portsmouth defender Gabor Gyepes due to a toe injury. The late signing didn’t go well with many fans, but Ronald quickly became a fan favourite following his defensive abilities and his ‘never say die’ attitude.
Social media screenshots of Ronald’s family have also shown that the player is indeed heading to Malaysia, although it is still uncertain if he is coming back to Sarawak. Ronald himself has started updating his social media accounts with photos of himself at Sarawak, hinting the return could very much be real.
Despite that, Ronald’s return to Sarawak does confirm our previous report that the Crocs are set to ‘rekindle’ themselves with a former flame, and it would be a pleasant surprise to many shall Ronald return to Stadium Negeri once more.
