Premier League side Sabah Football Association (SAFA) are making progress in their preparations for the coming season after they secured their first foreign player for the coming season.
The team nicknamed the ‘Rhinos’ have signed the S-League’s best defender Igor Cerina, tying the Croation on a one year contract.
The defender was a prominent feature with his former team Balestier Khalsa FC, and had also played in the AFC Cup.
According to SabahRhinos, Cerina has already started training with his new club.
The Rhinos are actively seeking foreign players with former Sarawak striker Muamer Salibasic also in Kota Kinabalu to earn himself a place in the Rhinos.
