Rajagobal reports for duty for Crocs, changes assured

Sarawak’s new coach K. Rajagobal officially clocks in as the new coach for Sarawak today as rumours of change start ringing heavily among players currently donning the Crocs colours.

The first breaking news, likely a huge blow to Rajagobal’s ambition is the announcement of key player Joseph Kalang Tie. The nippy player has announced he will be leaving for Terengganu.

Other rumours have also surfaced linking Ramesh Lai to away from Sarawak, while other players are said to be now considering offers from other teams following the end of their seasonal contract with Sarawak.

On the foreign import front, Ryan Griffith seems to be exiting the team, with uncertainty hanging over the likes of Billy Mehmet, Patrick Gerthardt and Ivan Fatic.

Close sources to SarawakCrocs have also revealed that Rajagobal is likely to bring ‘his men’ into the squad with Norshahrul Idlan Talaha and Ahmad Fahri Shaarani among the few names mentioned lately.

However, it is quite evident that Rajagobal intends to create his own team when he decided to take over Sarawak only for the new season, and not continue picking up the pieces left by Robert Alberts.

Whatever Rajagobal intends to do for the new season would start today, and only he knows his cards for now.
