Ronny Harun was awarded ‘Man Of The Match’ for the Sarawak vs Selangor game tonight. The award is a new feature in the Malaysia Cup, introduced specially for the Quarter Finals stage.
The award for Ronny comes despite his side being defeated during the game, and his error of miss-passing the ball which resulted in the winning goal for Selangor.
Nonetheless, the award for this tireless Sabahan born defender is felt to be fitting as Ronny was vital in defence, keeping the likes of Andik Vermansyah at bay throughout the game.
