Malaysia Super League side Perak Football Association (PAFA) has signed Uzbekistan international Vokhid Shodiev for the coming season.
29 year old attacking midfielder was previously from FC Bunyodkor and has played in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup qualification for his country. The 1.92m tall player has a moderate scoring record and is expected to fill in Perak’s Asian Foreign import slot.
Perak FA when announcing Shodiev’s signing was ecstatic with their capture.
The president of PAFA Datuk Seri Abdul Puhat Mat Nayan commented that Shodiev had successfully passed his medical test upon arriving in Perak on 27 December and his first training with the team showed he has the ability to blend well with the current Perak players.
