Former Sarawak striker, Muamer Salibasic has scored two goals last night to help his new team, Sabah, go into the Finals of the Sabah Confederation Cup.
The 31-year old striker, who recently just signed a six month contract with the Borneo side, scored two goals in 20 minutes, putting his side 2-0 in front against Sabah’s SUKMA football team.
After half time, the SUKMA team reduced the deficit to 2-1, but new Sabah’s signing Stuart Wark made it 3-1 for Sabah to again take the lead.
The Liga Premier side continued to dominate the game and scored their fourth goal though Leopold, before import Igor Cerina made it 5-1.
As full time came closer, the SUKMA team scored their second goal, but their hopes for a comeback didn’t materialized as the full time whistle was blown.
