MSL: Sarawak 1-1 Perak

The Crocs wasted a good chance to improve their standings in the Malaysia Super League after they finished the game level at Stadium Negeri last night.

Playing at an unusual 9:45PM kick-off, the Crocs started the game slow with Joseph Kalang Tie starting from the bench.

The two thousand crowd at Stadium Negeri, perhaps the lowest ever attendance ever recorded since 2012, saw the Crocs pull one ahead of the visiting Seladangs, but the goal by Ryan Griffith was ruled out for a foul.

After the breather, the Crocs tried to create more chances, but Perak displayed better passing and controlled much of the game.

In the 55th minute, Perak put themselves ahead of the home side. Wong Nam Kung was the toast of Perak as he skillfully beat Mohd Iqbal to ensure his side would lead the game.

The Crocs pressed mharder for the equalizer and Ryan finally leveled the score in th 70th minute when he scored the long awaited goal.

Despite massive efforts to score, the Crocs found themselves defending more often with heroic saves by Iqbal the mention of the day.

As the clock moved nearer to the final whistle, Sarawak players started complaining of cramps while Perak players continued their assault for the winning goal.

Nonetheless, the Crocs stood strong in front of their home side and secured one valuable points just as the clock reached 11:30PM.
