Today would be the day for Mateo Roskam, as he goes for an MRI to determine his injury.

Mateo who scored a goal during Sarawak’s opening Liga Super game against T-Team, was left out of the starting line-up against Kedah last weekend after he was reported to have complained about a foot injury.

David Usop, the head coach of Sarawak FA was reported to be unhappy of the sudden injury, and had ordered Mateo to undergo an MRI scan to determine what is the main cause of his injury. David had also admitted he was disappointed he couldn’t field one of his star strikers.

According to SarawakVoice, if the MRI scans by medical specialist fail to find anything wrong with Mateo, David would then take immediate action to discuss Mateo’s future with the Crocs and the reason of him being unwilling to play that particular night.

It was also reported also reported that David admitted the Crocs only looked at Mateo’s ability as a player, but didn’t look into Mateo’s attitude when they decided to sign him, adding that Mateo was signed in a haste due to time constrain.

  2. I don’t want to complain much but……. If Sarawak needs a backup striker why not just use our locals? If we are to need another foreign import players I prefer to find someone in the midfield more often. We lack creativity and lack of passing in the midfield. All I see last time during the match against Sabah we were more to long balls. This isn’t the old times like we used to play long balls all the time. We need to find someone to control the midfield more often. Just giving my thoughts about this.
