MATCH REPORT: PDRM FA 1-0 SARAWAK FA

Sarawak fell hard at Stadium Shah Alam tonight after they failed to cash in from an under-performing PDRM side.  The Crocs, spotting their latest import Partick Gerhardt fell 1-0 to the Cops in an affair which saw fans fuming over the quality of refereeing.

The Crocs pressed for an early goal in the first half but saw them unable to make dangerous runs towards PDRM’s goal which was heavily defended.

Despite playing the ineffective long ball passing, Shahrol somewhat managed to squeeze a pass to Ryan Griffith, but the number 23’s powerful drive was blocked by the bar to keep the score unchanged.

The tide soon changed with PDRM’s effective attacking Dramane Traore put in one past Fadzley Rahim, hence putting the Cops ahead in the game which was beginning to slow down in pace.

After the breather, the Crocs showed much urgency to find the equalizer, and the inclusion of national player Ashri Chuchu improved the pace of the game.

The Crocs soon obtained a free kick which was taken neatly by Ivan Fatic, but his shot on goal shared the same fate as Ryan’s first half drive, hence not changing the score line.

Another great chance soon went begging when Joseph Kalang was in great position to score from a header, only to miss the target inches.

Joseph was again in action soon after that but his shot on goal fell shy of the target yet again, to put the Crocs even more desperate for the equalizer with time fast running out.

Defensive minded Patrick was soon seen lurking outside PDRM’s penalty box as time came close to the final whistle, but his efforts went wasted as his presence did nothing to change the score line until the final whistle.

The defeat means that Sarawak is now on a losing streak with four straight defeats.
