Liverpool is set to play Malaysia again, with the Malaysian side bringing in a ‘Malaysian selection’to fight the Reds.
The announcement of the match comes at as a surprise since the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) previously had promised that the national team would not play part in any more tour games which see the national team getting beaten by club sides.
Such matches also do not improve Malaysia’s world ranking in football, with some football fans calling it a ‘circus match’ as it doesn’t exactly help Malaysian football.
According to news reports, the game would be played after Hari Raya although no definite date has been set.
