A minimum of 50% matches of the upcoming Liga Premier season will be streamed live following partnership between the Malaysia Football League (MFL) and internet television service provider mycujoo.
The partnership makes mycujoo the official broadcast partner for the 2019 season of the Liga Premier.
According to a MFL, fans will have the opportunity to follow Liga Premier matches live via mycujoo’s platform as well as MFL’s social media platforms.
MFL CEO, Kevin Ramalingam said that the aim for the Liga Premier is to have all matches shown live by 2020.
This news will definately be well received by fans Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan, Sabah, Sarawak, Pulau Pinang, Terengganu FC II, Johor Darul Ta’zim II, UKM FC, UiTM FC, PDRM, Selangor United, and Perlis as they can now hope to see their favourite team in action.
We believe that live streaming for the Liga Premier matches is a good move but we are quite sure the management of some football teams would be worried that the effort would disrupt their gate collections for the coming season.
The 2019 Liga Premier season kicks off on Friday, 1st February, with a match between PDRM and UiTM FC.
