Leicester City striker to play for Crocs?

The rumour of Sarawak’s new foreign striker gets heated up as local paper New Sarawak Tribune revealed that the Crocs is keen to sign Christopher Grant Wood, a striker playing for English side Leicester City.

Christoper has 34 senior caps for his country New Zealand, and has scored 12 times internationally. He is still playing with his national side, hence allowing him to play as a foreign striker in Malaysia, under the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) regulations.

The 22 year old striker spent most of his time in England, playing for clubs like West Bromwich Albion, Barnsley, Brighton & Hove Albion, Birmingham City, Bristol City, and Millwall before playing for his current side Leicester City in 2013.

Chris scoring rate is adequate with the 1.91cm tall player scoring 17 goals so far in his professional career.

Shall the rumour be true, the signing of Chris would definitely add more spark to the already fancy Sarawak side, with the Crocs signing highly rated ex-Porthmouth defender Gabor Gyepes in the December transfer window.
