Kuching FA emerged winners of their very first Liga M3 match today, defeating Klang Valley side Ultimate FC.
Former national player, Joseph Kalang Tie was the toast of the match after he scored both goals for Kuching, with Ultimate unable to penetrate the defense of Kuching.
Joseph scored Kuching’s first goal in the 19th minute of the match.
After the breather, he doubled his tally in the 49th minute to put the visiting Kuching comfortable in the game which they dominated.
Ultimate almost narrowed the scoreline before the final whistle, but a penalty kick which was awarded did not go in, giving Kuching the full points of the match.
The win means Kuching is on course to their goal for 2019 which is to win automatic promotion to the Liga Premier next season.
