Kuching City continues win-less streak in Liga Super

Kuching City FC which had lost both is head coach and assistant head coach in the past week, continued to search for a win in the Liga Super.

The club was held 2-2 at their home turn, Stadium Negeri, by current bottom league occupants, Kelantan FC.

Firdaus in the post-match press conference said that his side should have won the full three points but failed to take the opportunities that presented itself.

He also said the goalkeeper had lost concertation, which resulted in the second goal.

“We should have won the full three points because we led 2-1. Two mistakes happened, one from a long free kick. I’m disappointed.

“I was quite shocked with Kelantan’s first goal. It happened in the second or third minute. Our keeper lost his concertation.

“We had a lot of chances, but we missed most of it, especially Abu Kamara, although he did score.

“This game should be ours. We should have won.” said Firdaus after the match.

Kuching City will meet Kedah Darul Aman in their next match at Stadium Negeri on the 29th July 2023.
