Kelantan without football stadium during Ramadan

Kelantan would not be able to use their stadium this coming Ramadan as the Kelantan government has declared that their home Stadium Sultan Muhammad IV would be closed for any football games during the holy month. The stadium surroundings would instead be used for a religious related event.

The closure of the stadium has been brought to the attention of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), and they have agreed to delay Kelantan’s matches during the month of Ramadan to a later date.

Two games which will be rescehduled due to this incident are against Sime Darby FC and Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) scheduled on 20th and 27th June respectively.

It is understood that Kelantan will play both games after Hari Raya.
