Sarawak midfielder Junior Eldstal is set to undergo operation for his injury next week after holding it off for numerous weeks in order for him to help the Crocs in the Malaysia Cup.
The 22 year old Sabahan born player confirmed such news via his twitter when he tweeted “After months of playing through injury I am finally due my back operation in the upcoming week”.
It was widely reported that Junior was playing in pain in past matches due to a slipped dics injury he obtained this season.
No confirmation has been available to Sarawak Crocs on how long the midfielder would be unavailable, but it is highly unlikely that he would be able to play immediately when the Malaysia Super League season opens for 2014.
