Joseph hit by hamstring injury

Sarawak may need to play without influential Joseph Kalang Tie for the coming games of the Malaysia Super League after the player himself confirmed that he is now carrying a hamstring injury which he picked up during the Sarawak vs Sime Darby match last night.

According to Joseph himself, he hopes to recover fast so that he can be back in action, but he remains uncertain when it would be possible since he has yet to check with the doctor.

According to our information, a ‘hamstring injury’ is very common among football players and it happens when one or more of three muscles that run along the back of your thigh gets stretched too far. In severe cases, the muscles might even start to tear and it may need an operation if so.

Joseph in a comment said that he hopes fans would pray for his speedy recovery, while at the same time also continue to support the team.  He added “It doesn’t matter if I am not able to play for Sarawak. What matters is that the fans continue to support the team”.
