Looks like JDT is moving further ahead the pack when it comes to making their teams closer to world class teams as they start employing match marshals for matches played in Larkin.
According to a statement issued by its President, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, these football marshal would be attend a special training with the Malaysian Royal Police Force before being deployed at the stadium during football matches.
It is understood that about 1000 football marshals would be deployed by JDT during one match.
Aside from introducing football marshals, JDT had also decided to lower the gate separating fans and the pitch to enable fans to watch football games without any disturbance.
The move by JDT to introduce football marshals during matches would be the first in the country as most teams have previously opted to request assistance from the police force and Federal Reserve Unit to ensure security in the stadium.
