Jalil wants to drop several Piala Presiden players when the transfer window opens this coming May 2.
According to a news report by Utusan Borneo, the experience head coach admitted that he is disappointed with the performances of his young side and he has identified several payers that need to be replaced. He was quoted as saying that these players had been given the opportunity to shine, but they have failed to do so.
The news report added that Jalil is also keen to recall several Piala Presiden players currently with the senior team. He said there players were initially for his side, but they were instead drafted to the senior side. The return of these player according to Jalil, would improve the fortunes of his team.
Jalil added that these players do not play regular football with the senior team and bringing them back would open the opportunity for regular football.
It is understood that the players Jalil wants to bring back to his side were identified as talents for the Piala Presiden, but they were offered to play for the senior team instead.
The Piala Presiden side is on a win-less streak and are in danger of finishing the season at the bottom of the league if their situation doesn’t change.
Their latest match saw them go down to PKNS FC B.
