Muamer dedicates hat-trick to fans
The Crocs’ top form hitman, Muamer Salibasic had dedicated his hat-trick achieved during the recent 6-1 thrashing of Perak at State Stadium, Petra Jaya to the loyal local fans.
Salibasic who spoke to The Borneo Post recently said he will never forget that night and was touched by the moral support given by the thousands of fans who turned up in full force to see the home team advance to the quarterfinals in convincing sytle.
“I am very happy to have created my first hat trick here in Malaysia… I will do my best to create more for the team in the future,” he added.
The towering Bosnia-Herzegovina import striker was roped into the team last April and he quickly settled down with the rest of Crocs which had delighted the fans.
He too commented that the fans should deserve more for throwing their undivided support to the Crocs and he was just more than happy to put in the best performance for them.
Salibasic had previously played for NK Podgrmec which is a side based in a town called Sanski Most in his native country.
Sarawak will face Sime Darby FC next in an away match in the first leg of the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals which starts this Saturday.
