Sarawak’s foreign striker Muamer Salibasic had claimed that the 2019 Liga Premier season would be an interesting season.
The Bosnian was quoted as saying that during an interview with FoxSports Malaysia.
According to Salibasic, the increased number of competition in the Liga Premier, as well as the increased number of foreign and local talents in the league would make the 2019 season very interesting.
On top of that, he also attributed that the quality owned by Perlis FA and JDT II to make the league even more interesting.
When asked why he returned, Salibasic said that he always liked Sarawak and would want to help the team regain their former glory.
He added that fans had also been very nice to him during his time in Sarawak.
Salibasic also said that he would guide the younger footballers in the team as this season’s 2019 Sarawak FA team has plenty of youngsters, adding that senior players like Ronald Hikspoors and Bobby Gonzales would also be doing the same.
Sarawak signed Salibasic a week ago and had already shown he hadn’t lost his touch by scoring once and assisting once in the first pre-season friendly by Sarawak FA.
