Previously, we heard speculations that former Sarawak FA head coach, Ian Gillan will be the next head coach of Sarawak FA.
As a matter of fact, we were contacted by someone in FAS about how we got the news when it broke out on our site.
Today, sources told us with photo proof that Gillan in fact was at Larkin when Sarawak played with Johor Darul Ta’zim FC II.
A screen shot of Gillan shaking JDT II players was also provided by a fan called Ikhwan.
His role with Sarawak is not known just yet as there is no official announcement, but with Gillan having enough credentials to lead the team, it does seem Gillan may just be on the way back to lead the team.
It is understood that Gillan holds one of the top football coaching license in Sarawak at the moment, and his contract would only expire in November 2019.
Gillan is an experience coach and is known to be able to mould young players to reach their best potential.
