Hassan Mohamad, Sarawak’s latest import player has been assigned to number 30 according to Facebook page Sarawak Football.
The page which showed the jersey well printed on Sarawak’s home colours didn’t elaborate more, but sources say that the claim is legitimate considering that they believe Sarawak Football does have ‘loose ties’ with Sarawak official apparel shop Lea Sports Centre.
The news shows that the number 5 used by Milorad Janjus, which is the player Hassan is replacing, would be retired for this season.
Hassan is a new signing at Stadium Negeri and is expected to make his debut on Tuesday against Selangor.
It is however not known if the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) would be introducing Hassan just like they did for Ryan Griffith last week.
