Sarawak held Harimau Muda B 1-1 during a friendly game played at 9:45PM tonight.
Not wanting to suffer another defeat, the Crocs went on an offensive from the start of the whistle, but found themselves somewhat unable to penetrate the defense of the Harimau Muda B players.
It didn’t take long into the half before Sarawak were presented with a good chance to secure the lead, but a short corner by Joseph Kallang, was saved by the heroic Harimau Muda B goalkeeper who parried it out.
This was followed by a long pass by Sharol Saperi who was looking for Joseph, but the goalkeeper again failed the attempt by rushing out to save the day.
Not wanting to loose out on attacking, Harimau Muda B used their great pace to play a counter attacking game against the Crocs.
Their tactics worked when Ronny Harun failed to clear a weak ball, resulting in Harimau Muda strikers to intercept and beat helpless Saiful Amar Sudar.
Unlike the Sarawak we know, the team failed to impress despite being one goal behind with Sharol the only player looking eager to win the game
The game however restarted with the Crocs looking hungrier for the win.
Zamri Moshidi came inches from leveling the score but the ball he obtained from Bobby Gonzales was again denied entry by the goalkeeper.
Sarawak pushed forward more with Guy Bwele and Sharol clearly controlling the middle of the field, and their efforts were handsomely rewarded when Bobby lifted the ball to incoming Guy, who floored it into the net for the score to level itself.
The Crocs edged closer to scoring another goal moments later, but Mazwandy Zakeria’s floating shot was yet again pushed out for a fruitless corner.
With time running out, Robert Alberts made some tactical changes to his side, but none proved able to change the scoreline.
