The news was made official last Sunday when Guy Bwele(photo) with another five were announced to be officially dropped from Sarawak for next season.
The other five are Azizan Baba, Fareez Tekijo, Sahran Samad, Shahrul Malek and goalkeeper Saiful Amar.
According to news reports by The Borneo Post, Bwele was philosophical over the end of his term at Sarawak as he was quoted as fully understanding the move made by Sarawak FA.
Rumours before this were high that Guy Bwele, Saiful Amar and Azizan Baba were on the verge of being released, and this has been confirmed during an appreciation dinner last Sunday.
The Crocs are expected to sign replacements for the dropped players soon with Rashid Aya, Reesyafiq Alwi and goalkeeper Fadzley Rahim looking good to be signed as future Sarawak players.
