Davide Grassi’s time at Sarawak has come to an end after SarawakCrocs today learned that the Italian defender has concluded talks about his release from the Crocs.
According to our sources, Grassi and the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) have agreed to terminate the contract on mutual terms with both Grassi and FAS ending things without much issues.
We have learned that Grassi is leaving Kuching today and shall depart for Italy tomorrow.
Prior to this, Grassi went on a holiday in Bali, Indonesia.
Grassi’s release was confirmed today by head coach David Usop with the Iban coach also confirming that replacement players would arrive next week, a day after formal training for the Crocs begin.
Two players have been linked to Grassi’s position , namely Liberian captain, Teah Dennis and Hong Kong international, Andrew James.
