Sarawak is currently having Cameroonian Anicet Eyenga (photo) on trial, and the 27 year old striker has impressed fans watching him play, with Akmal Rizal believed to be giving the 1.9m tall striker a thumbs up.
In a tweet over the weekend, Akmal said that the a new foreign player from Cameroon (believed to be Anicet) joined his team during training, and looked to have the quality needed to help Sarawak.
Our research online revealed that Anicet has a tendency to score goals when playing, with his best scoring ability shown when he played for Olympiakos Volou. The player however previously played in the Algerian league where he scored eight goals for his team ASO Chlef, and helped his team end Esperance’s 19-game unbeaten run in the CAF Champions League Group A tie in 2012.
It is however unsure if Anicet would be signed although it is no secret that Sarawak coach Robert Alberts is looking to reinforce his side with better foreign strikers when the April transfer window opens.
