Fuad seems confident ahead of first game

Tonight, the Crocs will face cash-rich Johor Darul Ta’zim in Stadium Negeri with hope the secure an upset over the team which is made of stars of Malaysian football.

Flying in yesterday was the Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim. Social media was abuzz about his arrival as the crown prince has not only won hearts of his Johorians, but also gained massive followings among many, football fans included.

But back in Sarawak, the huge question was if the Crocs could do a miracle tonight. Sarawak interim coach, Fuad Gbersic has said that he believes in his players and is confident he can get something from the game, but sales tickets around the city of Kuching, set to be declared the City of Unity has been lukewarm.

Despite confirming that he would not be fielding G Mahathevan, Ashri Chuchu and Ryan Griffith, Fuad seems optimistic his team is more than capable for the game tonight.

Sarawak’s poor defending might also get a boost as Fuad himself confirmed that Ramesh Lai is back from his injury.
