Bosnian Fuad Grbesic has had his fortune changed numerous times since his arrival in Sarawak, and the latest is sort of an ‘upgrade’ for the experienced coach.
According to close sources to the SarawakCrocs, the 54-year old coach has now been tasked to groom players in the President Cup and Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA) team, hence relieving him of his responsibilities as the head coach of the Youth team.
At this moment, we do not know much about the arrangements, but Fuad has been asked to improve the Young Crocs as Sarawak gear towards making an impact in football in both the President Cup and the coming SUKMA which will be held in Sarawak next year.
Fuad mid year, was tasked to take over the vacancy left by Robert Alberts after the Dutchman resigned. His task was to save Sarawak from relegation, and he did just that. After the Malaysia Super League ended, Fuad was replaced by David Usop, and returned to his role in the youth squad.
