Former Sarawak midfielder, Junior Eldstal is reported to need major surgery on his spine soon.
Posting an emotional tweet yesterday, Junior explained that his injury setbacks for the last two seasons has been very frustrating, and the latest meeting with a specialist in Singapore revealed that he is suffering from a spinal slipped discs that could threaten his career.
The injury also requires him to undergo three to six months of major rehabilitation which of course, needed to be discussed and agreed by his current club, JDT.
Eldstal was an integral figure in Sarawak football back in 2013 when Sarawak was crowned invincible champion of Malaysian Premier League, but experienced a similar injury that same yeat which saw him sidelined for a few months as well.
That year also marks his introduction to professional football league in Malaysia.
