Penang FA has secured the signature of former Palmeiras striker José Tadeu Mouro Júnior.
The lanky 29-year old Brazillian started his youth football career at Cruzeiro, Brazil, before joining São Paulo in 2006.
He then shifted to numerous clubs in Brazil and Turkey from 2007 onwards before finally joining Persian Pro League side Persepolis in 2014.
José Tadeu struggled to find regular play time at Persepolis, in which he scored only once in four appearances.
At the end of his contract with Persepolis, José Tadeu made a move to sign for newly promoted Malaysian Super League side Penang FA, signalling his first ever venture in South East Asia.
The Araraquara born striker arrived in Penang last Monday.
