With more foreign players flooding Kuching for a spot with the Crocs, it does seem that the potential candidate to play for David Usop’s team has been identified.
According to the head coach, he is most impressed by Mark Andrew, the Filipino-English striker at the moment.
David, being the professional that he is however, declined to name if Mark would be drafted officially, adding that he is still looking at other options and wouldn’t sign a player in haste.
Nonetheless, Mark’s double goal during a friendly match against Kuching FA team today does put him ahead of the rest of the foreign imports on trial, hence making him a prime candidate to be signed by the Crocs, .
Considering also the fact that Mark is only 23 years of age only makes Mark a tempting choice to be signed by the Crocs for the coming season.
However, with contract negotiations believed to be no where started, the real question is if Mark and the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) can strike a deal on salary, especially with FAS said to be curbing expenditure for the coming season.
