Sarawakian ASTRO TV host Dayang Atul Akma has confirmed that the Malaysia Cup match between Sarawak and Kedah will be televised live over ASTRO Arena Channel 801.
The game will be played at 8:45PM at Stadium Darul Aman in Kedah, which is home to Premier League side Kedah FA.
ASTRO has been in hot soup with the Sarawak fans after they failed to show Sarawak clinching the Premier League title this season. The incident has sparked a nationwide ‘No live no problem’ campaign, led by Sarawak ultras, Gallore Buceros.
Radio announcers Ray and Johan however made it even worst when they made fun of the Sarawak FA in their radio shows.
The pressure exerted by Sarawak fans has however worked with this live telecast being planned for next Tuesday, with both Johan and Ray asked to apologize publicly next Monday.
