Kuching FA football team has been creating a lot of excitement in the past few years with the team almost able to qualify for the Liga Premier next year, only to be defeated by UKM FC in the quarter finals. The team would be playing only their second season in the Liga FAM next season after becoming champions of the inaugural Liga Bolasepak Rakyat last year.
The selection of the new management is expected to further strengthen Kuching’s position in the Liga Malaysia as the team looks forward to becoming the first community based football team to reach the Liga Premier from Sarawak.
