The Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) would appeal the decision by the Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP), which again denied Sarawak FA’s football club license.
This was said by FAS General Secretary, Razali Dolhan in a report carrid out by Utusan Borneo.
According to Razali, FAS accepts the decision, but will again file an appeal regarding the matter, with hope it would be accepted.
He continued to add that the football club license is important and compulsory for any team in the Liga Super, but is not mandatory for a team playing in the Liga Premier.
Sarawak FA has seen their application for the football club license rejected twice due to financial issues documentation, and have been relegated to the Liga Premier nex season.
However, with one team expected to be dismantld, and rumours of the Liga Super being expanded to 14 teams, the FAS manageent is hopeful the Sarawak FA team can still stay in the Liga Super next season despite being relegated.
