Sarawak is ready to make an official report over the incident which marred the Malaysia Cup tie in Perak where fans disturbance jeopardized the safety of the Crocs players.
According to FAS President, Datuk Sudarsono Osman, the team is looking into the incident and awaiting the official match report to be ready before making a complaint. He added that Sarawak will definitely not keep silent over the incident which could have caused injuries towards their staff and players.
Commenting on the incident, Robert Alberts also claimed that the Crocs were denied a single point after his players were distracted by the off field incidents. He further added that a firecracker almost exploded near the Sarawak players during the game.
Last Tuesday, Perak won the Malaysia Cup first game by 2-1 after fans started throwing lighted firecrackers, which then exploded into the pitch area. The game which was halted for 15 minutes saw Perak coming back with the winning two goals as Perak fans continued their ‘firecracker’ assault during the game.
