The Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) has produced an advert inviting eligible candidates to apply for the post of a General Manager at the club.
Sources close to FAS told us that the post is a newly created one, and the person selected will be taking charge of the Crocs, signalling Sarawak’s move towards privatization. It is further understood that the new post would head a new organisation.
According to the online advert, the new general manager is expected to implement FAS Exco and board strategies and policies, develop short and long term business plans for FAS, advice on organisation, funding, promotion, regulations, prepare and implement budgets, alias with relevant authorities, develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business associates, produce and maintaining effective documentation of processes and procedures for financial control and management, supervise operation and facilities of the association, and update the board with regular updates.
Interested candidates need to have a degree, experience and is passionate about the club.
