Another name has been linked to the hot seat in the Football Association of Sarawak, with Layar ADUN, Gerald Rentap Jabu now also listed as a possible candidate.
The news, broke by online portal SarawakVoice said that Gerald attended a dinner for the on-going Liga Bolasepak Rakyat last week, prompting such speculations.
Rentap, 46 is familiar in the sporting arena of Sarawak with the being involved in the Sarawak SUKMA XVIII, and weight lifting.
In terms of football, the area he now represents has had a good increase of football leagues and competitions since he started being active in politics.
Aside from politics, Gerald is hugely involved in finances with stints at Sarawak Securities Sdn Bhd and Sarawak Capital Sdn Bhd. He is also a board member of the Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad, Utahol Management Sdn. Bhd. , PanGlobal Insurance Berhad, RT Cargo Group Of Companies, and Sarawak Energy Berhad.
