The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has insisted that Sarawak FA allocate tickets to away fans, citing that under the Malaysia League rules, a home team must allocated tickets to the away team.
FAM secretary-general Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin also said that he hoped that FAS allocates tickets to fans of Perak, while adding that “he have advised them (FAS) to settle all issues amicably and that tickets be sold to Perak fans”.
Sarawak had previously said that no away fans would be allocated a ticket for the Sarawak vs Perak game at the Stadium Negeri this coming 30 August.
The move was said to be due to FAS being unable to guarantee the safety of the away fans after reports that the Sarawak fans are angry and ready to take revenge over two incidents which happened in Stadium Ipoh a few weeks ago.
