Fans of the Crocs are not hiding their high expectations on newly signed Ryan Griffith whom was unveiled by Datu Sudarsono as Sarawak’s latest foreign striker yesterday.
Ryan’s tweet which said that he ‘was delighted to be part of a great team’, was re-tweeted by many Sarawak fans, in which more than half of them expressed their hope that Ryan would score goals for their team.
Others have wished Ryan ‘Good luck’, while a handful were seen as saying that Ryan has cost Sarawak FA quite a sum, in which he would need to showcase his worth by producing goals for the team.
The high expectations from fans are definitely justified with Ryan’s signing being well published by both the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) and Robert Alberts himself.
It is hoped that Ryan would take the expectations from fans to do his best for the Crocs, and help them become one of the best teams in Malaysia, if not Asia.
