A source close to the SarawakCrocs.com have tipped us that Sarawak would list at least one President Cup player in the coming senior squad against Perak over the weekend.
According to our source, the player highly linked to the call up is Shreen Tambi, and highly rated local midfield player which had stints with Harimau Muda B.
The 21-year old Shreen also played for the this years Sarawak SUKMA team and carried the captains armband for the President squad team.
According to one of our reliable scouts, Shreen is also good in long range throw-ins, and is blessed with technical prowess as well as set-piece taking ability. The youngster is said to be given the number 31 during the game against Perak.
The inclusion of Shreen in the Sarawak line up signals Sarawak’s desperation to fill up its player list after the side coached by Roboert Alberts lost two players for the up-coming tie due to suspension.
Although not expected to start, Robert might give the youngster a few minutes on the field to see if he could draft the president cup player into the 2015 squad permanently.
