KUCHING: Coach Robert Alberts said that Sarawak will be going all out for their Premier League clash tomorrow at home against SPA Putrajaya FC.
According to him, the Crocs did not play up to expectations when the two teams last clashed in Melaka on Jan 14.
“It was a terrible match (against SPA Putrajaya FC) during the first round of the Premier League previously. I hope this time we don’t play like we did against them the last time,” he said.
In that match Sarawak had to come from behind to force a 1-1 draw when Guy Bwele scored the equaliser in the dying minutes of the game.
Alberts also reminded his team not to lose concentration like what they did during their match last week against UiTM FC.
Although registering a win, Sarawak conceded three goals during the final minutes of the match before winning 5-3.
New signing Muamer Salibasic is expected to return to the starting line up as he was declared fit.
“I am only thinking of doing my best for my new team. It will be great too if I scored for the team this Friday (tomorrow),” he said.
There is also good news for Sarawak in that key players Guy Bwele and Shahrol Saperi will be back after serving their suspensions.
Both are expected to be fielded because Alberts does not want to take any chances in their quest to close on the points gap with league leaders Sime Darby FC.
Since the start of the season Sarawak have remained unbeaten in the Premier League and are currently lying second in the league standings.
Kick off for the Sarawak versus SPA Putrajaya FC match will be 8.15pm tomorrow at the Stadium Negeri.
