Liga Super side Sarawak FA continued their winning ways in Vietnam on their pre-season tour by defeating Ho Chi Minh City FC (HCMCFC) 0-1 yesterday.
Despite the win, the Crocs needed to fight hard to counter to HCMCFC’s attack with Shahril Sa’ari making several crucial saves in the game.
The Crocs however finally scored the winning goal when defender Hairol Mokhtar nodded in the winning goal in the second half, thanks to a beautifully crafted set-piece.
Aside from preparing for the new season, the Crocs, coached by former Malaysian head coach K Rajagobal, also used the game against HCMCFC to test two foreign import hopefuls namely Júnior Aparecido Guimaro de Souza and Felicio Brown Forbes.
