Crocs camp start to buzz as June transfer window opens soon

The Sarawak camp has been quiet lately with the coaching staff and players off for a two week break until June 12.

However, word from the management team has revealed that there’s a hive of activities within the Crocs as they prepare for the coming June transfer window which opens this 20th.

Rumours have been keen that Sarawak will be parting ways with strong centre back Davide Grassi, while some local imports may also make way for other players.

A Hong Kong defender is said to be close to joining Sarawak to replace Grassi, but an African player is also said to be coming to Kuching soon. According to our inside sources, nothing much other than that can be revealed now as negotiations are still on the way. The source however said that whoever will be signed, it will be within Sarawak’s budget, with the coaches agreeing to the player’s ability to contribute to the team.

The source also revealed that there has also been player agents approaching Sarawak, offering their clients, but nothing concrete can be said until the official announcement is being made.

Fans are hoping that the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) would be able to sign the right player this time around to ensure Sarawak does make an impact in the Malaysia Cup, and challenge for the top five spots in the Liga Super.
