Sarawak FA yesterday had Pedro Henrique Dias de Amorim of Brazil joining their pre-season preparations with the defender playing against Selangor United FC.
His name was mentioned in a news article by Utusan Borneo and photos of the player have already been making rounds on football related sites on social media.
Pedro is said to play as a central defender and the 26 year old is 1.89cm tall.
Not much is known about the player, but our checks on website www.transfermarkt.co.uk showed that Pedro had been without a club since he left Highlands Park of South Africa in August 2017.
The defender was also recorded as having played in the Brazillian League before moving to South Africa.
We failed to find more information about the defender so far but was told by a contact that the defender did play well during the pre-season against Selangor United.
It is also not know if Sarawak can afford Pedro as he is listed to be valued at about RM240k by transfermarkt.co.uk.
Sarawak are looking to sign another import player to complete the 2019 team and several non-Malaysian players are joining the team for their pre-season matches in West Malaysia.
They play PDRM FA today at Stadium Pulapol.
