The Football Association of Sarawak has yet again asked fans of Sarawak FA to come in droves to Stadium Negeri this coming 21st September for the final game between Perak and Sarawak.
However, as FAS secretary-general Abdullah Julaihi said, firecrackers are not welcomes.
According to a report by The Star, Abdullah warned spectators that there would be tight security at the match, in witch some of them might undergo body search by the security personnel at the entrance.
He was quoted as saying that FAS want the match to be a fairly contested as he on behalf of FAS appealed to the fans not to resort to letting off firecrackers.
“We don’t want such incident to recur as in the past. Fill up the stadium to support Sarawak but please behave,” he said.
Also forbidden said Abdullah, was flares.
